We would like to thank you for wanting to get involved and find a way that you want to help Holding onto Hope continue to provide support, services, and programs to individuals and families impacted by cancer. Wish list: Holding onto Hope, has only been operating to help people since 2015, but we have been touched greatly by our community helping to spread holiday cheer to the children and families we serve to items that are needed while the individual, caregivers, and families go through the challenge of cancer during and after cancer. We have provided a list of items below that are needed or requested by the people we serve. Accessories: Beanies, Hats, scarves, wigs, winter gloves etc. Basic Needs: Toiletries, Batteries - 4 pk "AA", "AAA", Blankets, Body wash, Chap Stick, Drink Mix Packets (single serve, Kool-Aid, Crystal Light, etc.) Gum, Hand Sanitizer, Kleenex, laundry detergent, lip balm, lotion, Moist Towelettes or wipes , mouth wash, Sunscreen, Toilet paper, tooth paste, travel size- shampoo, Soaps, and body washes, Socks, and etc. Event Tickets: Sports, Broadway, and any event for the individual and a caregiver or family. Food and drinks: Different foods and drinks that can be used for benefits, groceries, and meals for individuals and families impacted by cancer. Gas gift cards: For individuals and families to get back and forth to treatment and doctor appointments. We get gas cards also to help with paying for the family to go out and do something fun with no expense from them. Gifts: for birthdays, Christmas, celebration- in remission, end of treatment, being discharge from hospital, etc. Restaurant Gift Cards: These gift cards help families and individuals to celebrate Life and to have fun without thinking about cancer. Itune gift cards: This helps individuals with cancer and families listen to music for calming. Ipads: Allows individuals and families to utilize Ipads during their hospital stay or long stay at home with no access to an ipad or computer. Parking vouchers: for Rochester General Hospital, Strong- University of Rochester, and Upstate. Thirty One -Thermal Bags: to store items in for chemo and radiation treatments. Thirty One- Drawstring Bags: to store items in for chemo and radiation treatments.
