![]() Angela graduated from SUNY Oswego with her Bachelors of Science in Health Wellness Management. While in remission from cancer, Angela later earned a Master's Degree in Nonprofit Management and certificate in Strategic Fundraising from BayPath College. Angela has worked at Wayne ARC for many years as a Medicaid Service Coordinator. Previously she has had experience as a Director and Site Coordinator of a Before and After School Program and Runaway Specialist Coordinator. Angela started Holding onto Hope after she was diagnosed with cancer in August 2011. Angela was diagnosed with Non-Hodkin's Lymphoma Large B-Cell cancer. Non-Hodkin's Lymphoma is a blood cancer. Angela believed that the community of Wayne County and surrounding counties needed help with life during and after cancer. With the help of the board and Angela McIntyre, Holding onto Hope has been able to help families impacted by Cancer since August, 2015. Board of Directors: ![]() James has been the Chair of Board of Directors of Holding onto Hope since January 2017. James has experiencing being a caregiver for his wife Angela when she was diagnosed with cancer. James has his Bachelor's Degree in Recreation and is getting his Master's Degree in Athletic Administration from Concordia University. James is a Head Soccer Coach. ![]() Cora LeFever is a working mom of five grown children. Cora is a Quality Engineer for a Plastic Injection Company for 27 years. Cora decided to be part of Holding onto Hope because she lost her sister to Breast Cancer and she was only 28 years old and has three children that Cora has raised along with her two children. Cora has also lost many family members to cancer, and most recently her father. Cora states "I know being part of this organization I can help ease some of the burden that people have while dealing with this disease". ![]() Kala has been professionally employed at Marshall Farms since March 2017. Her previous experience included almost a decade at Fortune 500 company, Xerox Corporation. Her expertise includes Contract and Billing, Employee Management, Contract Compliance, Project Management work in various capacities, Budgeting/Forecasting and creating client presentations (Global and National). Kala has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Nazareth College and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Medaille College. In her spare time, Kala enjoys all types of activities from yoga to 5k/half marathons to kayaking. ![]() Lisa Curnow is a working mom of one child and has been working at Advanced Atomization Technologies as a Final Inspector. Lisa decided to be part of Holding onto Hope due to losing her grandparents to cancer. My purpose of being on the board is to help and make a difference to the people that are impacted with this awful disease. ![]() Jill graduated from LeMoyne College with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Sociality and then earned her Master's Degree in School Psychology from SUNY Oswego. Jill's background includes working in the public-school system as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. Jill has opened Lakeshore Wellness Services to establish a comprehensive wellness facility that supports mind-body health. |
