 | Holding onto Hope is a 501 © 3 nonprofit organization that helps individuals, caregivers, and families impacted by cancer. We provide cancer awareness and prevention workshops for the community and programs and services for families and individuals going through cancer diagnosis, treatment and life after cancer. Mission: To help individuals and families impacted by cancer. Vision: To help the community become cancer free by support, recreation, active healthy lifestyle, and prevention and awareness for cancer to help delete cancer. To provide all individuals that have been affected by cancer the knowledge, services and programs that will help lead individuals to become strong, fight back against cancer, and help lead the community in finding a cure for cancer. Values: Respect, Honesty, Strength, Hope, Faith, and Courage. History: Holding onto Hope began in 2014 with a group of individuals that gathered in a church basement to start the process of Holding onto Hope. Holding onto Hope began helping individuals with cancer and their families in 2015. Holding onto Hope was incorporated in October 2014. We became a 501 © 3 tax exempt nonprofit organization in July 2016. |
